Order Volume
The single largest price lever. FCL (full container) orders attract significantly better unit pricing than LCL. Volume discounts apply progressively from MOQ up to FCL and multi-container tiers.
Sterile vs. Non-sterile
Sterile products carry a 2–4× price premium over non-sterile equivalents due to ETO sterilization costs, longer lead times, and higher packaging requirements including peel-open pouches.
OEM / Custom Label
Custom label and packaging adds a one-time tooling/setup cost plus a small per-unit premium for print runs below FCL volume. At FCL volume, OEM unit cost is typically only 5–10% above standard.
Specification & Material
Higher ply count, BP-grade cotton, X-ray detectable thread, or non-standard dimensions all affect unit price. Always provide your exact specification when requesting a quote.
Certification Requirements
Products requiring specific batch CoA, third-party pre-shipment inspection (SGS/BV), or additional regulatory documentation incur marginal additional costs passed transparently in the quotation.
Raw Material Market
Cotton and non-woven fabric prices fluctuate with global commodity markets. Prices quoted are valid for 30 days. For forward planning, contact us for a long-term supply agreement with price stability provisions.

Plan around Chinese New Year & seasonal shutdowns
Factories close for 10–15 days around Chinese New Year (late January / early February). Orders placed after late December will not ship until mid-March. For Q1 delivery, place orders before end of November. For GCC buyers: plan Saudi Arabia arrivals to avoid Ramadan customs slowdowns.

For non-sterile gauze swabs, standard MOQ is 1,000 boxes (100 pcs/box). Sterile gauze swabs start from 3,000 boxes due to ETO sterilization batch size requirements. Absorbent gauze rolls start from 2,000 rolls. OEM custom-label gauze has a higher MOQ of 5,000 pieces per SKU. Mixed orders combining multiple SKUs may qualify for blended MOQ — contact our team to confirm.
Yes, and this is highly recommended for cost efficiency. A 20ft FCL can accommodate a mixed load of gauze swabs, bandages, first aid kits, and surgical consumables. Mixed containers allow each product to meet its individual MOQ while sharing freight costs.
