Why Z-Fold Geometry Matters
In high-stress hemorrhage scenarios, muscle memory fails. Our "Linear Feed" technology removes the mechanical friction of traditional rolled gauze.
Linear Feed Dynamics
Unlike rolled gauze that requires two hands to manage unspooling, Z-Fold feeds directly from the pack into the wound channel in a straight line, enabling single-handed operation.
No "Runaway" Risk
Round rolls can drop and roll away in chaotic environments, becoming contaminated. Our flat Z-Fold stack stays stationary where you place it.
Vacuum Density
Proprietary compression technology reduces cubic volume by 60%, allowing more sterile material to be carried in standard IFAK (Individual First Aid Kits).
Mission-Ready Configurations
SERIES: TRAUMA // MFG CODE: KP-ISO-13485
Compressed Z-Fold Gauze
6-ply pure cotton gauze, vacuum compressed into a compact rectangular form. Unfolds easily for rapid wound packing.
Trauma Abdominal (ABD) Pad
Heavy-duty absorbent core with a sealed non-woven facing to prevent fiber shedding. Designed for large hemorrhage management.
X-Ray Detectable Lap Sponge
Pre-washed, lint-free gauze with a securely welded X-ray detectable thread. Essential for field surgery and deep wound packing.
Sterility Assurance

-
Phase 01 // Preconditioning
Equilibration of product temp and humidity to activate microbial cell walls for gas penetration.
Target: 50-80% RH / 40-50°C -
Phase 02 // Gas Exposure
Precise injection of Ethylene Oxide. Dwell time optimized to achieve Total Kill (10⁻⁶) without oversaturation.
-
Phase 03 // Evacuation
Deep vacuum removal of gas from the chamber followed by multiple inert nitrogen washes.
-
Phase 04 // Aeration
Heated aeration to remove residuals (ECH/EtO) to levels far below ISO 10993 limits.
Result: < 1 ppm Residuals
Operational Inquiries
What is the validated shelf life for vacuum-packed gauze?
Our vacuum-compressed Z-fold gauze and bandages carry a validated shelf life of 5 years. This is supported by accelerated aging tests (ASTM F1980) ensuring package integrity and sterility maintenance over long-term stockpiling.
Are the products stable in extreme temperature environments?
Yes. The packaging materials and cotton substrates are tested for stability across a temperature range of -20°C to +55°C. This ensures reliability whether deployed in arctic conditions or high-heat desert environments.
Does vacuum compression affect the absorption speed?
No. While the volume is reduced by 60% for storage, the "memory" of the cotton fibers allows them to instantly re-expand upon package opening. The wicking speed remains compliant with USP standards immediately upon deployment.
Can you provide private label / tactical black packaging?
We offer full OEM customization. This includes non-reflective matte foil packaging (Tactical Black/OD Green) for low-visibility operations, as well as custom label printing to match your brand's specifications.
