Locked-In X-Ray Element
BaSO₄ radiopaque thread permanently enclosed within the sponge — not surface-applied. Remains integral to the sponge under operative mechanical stress. FDA product code GDY compliant.
100% Woven Cotton
Surgical-grade woven cotton gauze (peanut / cherry) or cotton chevron tape (Kittner). Firm compression provides controlled dissection pressure. Absorbs blood and fluid precisely at the operative site.
Three Shape Options
Peanut (3/8") for laparoscopic and MIS. Kittner (1/4"×9/16") for open fascial dissection. Cherry (1/2") as intermediate size. Each shape matches specific forceps and procedure type.
Four Holder Formats
Foam holder (C-5) for laparoscopic field organization. Rigid tray for Kittner. No holder for forceps pre-loading. Strung counting card for count-critical protocols.
Sterile Peel-Pouch
5 sponges per sterile peel-pouch. EO or gamma sterilization. Double-wrapped for transport integrity. Aseptic dispensing to the sterile field confirmed by indicator tape.
Latex-Free Construction
No natural rubber latex in any component. Safe for latex-sensitive patients and staff. GMDN 13698 — Dissection sponge classification. CE / FDA 510(k) / SFDA registered.

No Holder (Sponge Only)
Loose sponges in sterile pouch. For teams that pre-load onto dedicated forceps before procedure. Lower unit cost; requires pre-loading step before case start.
Strung Counting Card
Sponges attached to counting card with retrieval string. For facilities requiring explicit sponge count tracking similar to neurosurgical patty protocols.
